Blair
Bollinger's beautiful transcription of this lyrical movement of the
Brahms 3rd Symphony makes a wonderful addition to any trombone choir
concert. The chorale like nature of the main theme lends itself
perfectly to the trombone choir, and Blair has very skillfully imitated
the passing of themes between the various orchestral choirs by
splitting the octet into two antiphonal quartets.
